The airfield is located near the city of Deva, in an open area well-suited for light aviation operations. Its position, just a short distance from the city center and away from urban congestion, makes it an ideal location for safe and efficient aeronautical activities. Characterized by a beautiful landscape, the airfield serves as an important hub for general aviation, recreational flights, and pilot training. Activities carried out here include flight instruction, parachuting, and various aerial sports operations, all conducted in accordance with modern safety standards. As part of the Romanian Aeroclub network, the airfield plays a key role in training and promoting a passion for aviation, contributing to the development of civil and sports aviation in the region.
